美特斯邦威集团公司始建于1995年,主要研发、生产、销售品牌休闲系列服饰。目前拥有美特斯邦威上海、温州、北京、杭州、重庆、成都、广州、沈阳、西安、天津、济南、昆明、福州、宁波等分公司。"美特斯·邦威"是集团自主创立的本土休闲服品牌。1995年4月22日,公司开设第一家"美特斯·邦威"专卖店,到目前"美特斯·邦威"在全国设有专卖店1500多家。
集团在国内服装行业率先采取"虚拟经营"模式,走品牌连锁经营的发展道路。2001年,集团在坚持"虚拟经营"、稳步发展的基础上,全面启动品质管理工程,从品牌形象、产品设计与质量、市场拓展、销售服务和信息化管理等全过程提升管理品质,美特斯邦威集团由此发展成为中国休闲服饰行业的龙头企业之一。集团已连续6年跻身中国服装行业百强企业,连续3年被全国工商联评为"上规模民营企业500强"。2003年,"美特斯·邦威"羊毛衫被评为"中国名牌";2004年、2005年,"美特斯·邦威"连续两年被评为"中国青年最喜爱的服装品牌",2005年,集团跻身"中国制造业500强",荣获"2003/2004中国服装品牌年度营销大奖"和"中国女性消费者最满意的品牌"称号。2006年再次荣获"2004/2005中国服装品牌年度策划大奖"。

Founded in 1995, Metersbonwe Group specializes in casual wear R&D, manufacturing and retailing. Up to now, the Group consists of 11 branches in Shanghai, Wenzhou, Beijing, Hangzhou, Chongqing, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Shenyang, Xi'an, Tianjin, Jinan, Kunming, fuzhou and Ningbo. Metersbonwe is a domestic casual wear brand independently built by the Group. The first "Metersbonwe" specialty store was opened on April 22, 1995. So far the number of chain stores has reached over 1,500 across China.
The Group was the first one to adopt "Virtual Operation" business model in China's apparel industry, and develop chain stores under the brand of Metersbonwe. Persisting in "Virtual Operation" and with steady development, the Group launched the quality management project in 2001 to promote the brand quality in the whole process from brand image, product design and quality, market development, sales services to information management, etc. Metersbonwe Group became one of the leading casual wear retailers in China. The Group had been among the top 100 enterprises of Chinese apparel industry for 6 years, and had been awarded "The Biggest 500 Domestic Enterprises" by the National Industrial and Commercial Association. In 2003, "Metersbonwe" woolen sweater was named as the "Famous Brand" of China. The brand "Metersbonwe" had also been recognized as the "Most Favorite Apparel Brand to the Youth" in China twice in a row in 2004 and 2005. In 2005, the Group had ranked among "Top500 Manufacturing Enterprises of China", and won the "Annual Sales Prize of Chinese Apparel Brand" and "The Most Satisfying Brand to Chinese Women" as well. In 2006, it once again won the "Annual Planning Prize of Chinese Apparel Brand "
Regarding integrity as the foundation of development all along since its establishment, our company has won consumers' loyalty and good reputation in the industry and market. Our unique business model and brand essence have also aroused people's attention in all circles:
●Promotion of the brand image: In order to promptly promote our brand familiarity and reputation, we have employed the strategy of hiring image-representatives, holding highly original public communication activities and launching all-aspect brand image advertisements, along with the opening of grand brand image stores.
●Product design & development: We have built and cultivated a world-class designing team, and developed a long-term cooperation relationship with the leading designers in France, Italy and Hong Kong. We introduce over 1,000 new styles into the market annually.
●Production: We break through the traditional production pattern by introducing virtually vertical integration business model, taking full advantage of market resources and unutilized production capacity in China. We have established strong long-term relationship with over 200 apparel manufacturers mainly in Guangzhou, Shanghai and Jiangsu, etc, which are able to produce over 20 million pieces/sets of casual wears to Metersbonwe Group every year. Meanwhile, our professional Quality Inspectors strictly control quality in each process of production so as to guarantee and improve the quality.
●Sales: We take advantage of brand influence to attract franchisees and develop the chain-store network. In addition, we provide our franchisees with the professional services such as logistic distribution, information & consultation, personnel training, etc. We also share risks with them to achieve mutual development and win-win relationship. Meanwhile, we launch loyalty customer service project to constantly promote our service quality.
●Information management: We have developed and implemented an ERP system, linking all pcs in the end-to-end chain including design, production, logistic, management and pos so as to enable us to share internal resource and systemize management process.
Starting from 2005, Metersbonwe's 10th anniversary,the Group had entered its second developing phase with its innovation focus shifting from business model to management style. It has utilized the information platform to integrate social resources and built an efficient link between different procedures of the apparel industry in order to improve its management.
The Group has relocated its management center and R&D center in Shanghai since 1995. On Dec.10, 2005, the new Headquater was put into use. Relying on the regional superiority and advantageous platform of Shanghai--the fashion city and economic center, the Group could efficiently integrate the resources and thus speed up the logistics, information and capital flow.
