Responsibilities:

·         Act as the central resource for worldwide purchasing cost related issues

·         Develop the appropriate cost analysis tools & database to support purchasing group’s sourcing strategy.

·         Conduct key cost driver benchmark in terms of different region or supplier.

·         Support new project cost estimation and target cost setup.

·         Conduct financial assessment to supplier

·         Support Commodity manager for quotation analysis and negotiation.

·         Conduct cost training & value presentation to the team and management.

·         conduct teardown analysis

Requirements:

·         University/college degree with major in Industrial Engineering, Science, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering disciplines etc.

·         5-8 years’ working experience, at least 3-5 years functional managerial or project management experience in - Engineering or Sourcing function in manufacturing environment. Has strong technical background.

·         Strong analysis skills and good at data analyzing, fast learner of basic finance tools and be able - to prepare cost estimates for conceptual designs or show cost impacts of different tooling strategies/different manufacturing processes for business decisions after specific training programs

·         Possess an understanding of process cycle times, equipment, raw materials, fixturing, overheads and mark-ups

·    Good negotiation skills in buyer/seller situation

·         Good interpersonal skills-working with engineers/buyers/suppliers, communication skills, value management and business skills, –able to lead & train multinational teams

·         Strong PC skills, fluent in English and Putonghua
