Caterpillar R&D Center (China) Co., Ltd. (CRDC) is established to support Caterpillar's critical success factor in achieving profitable market leadership. in China by 2010. CRDC provides engineering and technical support for several China based ventures, including the joint partnership with Shandong SEM Machinery Co., Ltd.,one of China's key wheel loader manufacturers.
CRDC is located in Qingdao and it has been in operations since August of 2005. The R&D center has two floors and it could occupy over 140 people. It is the house for vairous product, component,and other business groups that play a key role in implementing and supporting the emerging market strategies in China. |
