Lanzhou Rapid Group Corporation is a Joint-stock enterprise that all staff hold the shares. The group is established by restructuring the large enterprise group “Lanzhou Lanxin Communication facility group Co., Ltd” in Gansu province.
Lanzhou Rapid Group has the property of 14.7 billion RMB and occupying an area of almost 500 hectares. The Corporation has 4800 suits of machining, power and other kinds of special equipments. And also has more than 1800 suits of testing instruments. The corporation also has design studios and environment experiment stations with complete development means. The designing work is implemented by largely using 3D mechanical CAD and electronic CAD design. The enterprise realizes the language transformation from product pattern information to NC manufacturing code by established the CAM center. Additionally by establishing product units, the enterprise achieves the information and network of the product design and manufacture, so that the technical language transformation can be finished quickly. The Rapid Group makes use of modern high technology and new technology to change the traditional products manufacturing pattern to realize the flexibility and nimble manufacture. So far, the enterprise has formed a new industrial system product chain that is consisted of three big parts including machinery electronics, communication and military products. In order to adopt the overspeed development of the corporation, the Rapid Group has established a research and development center -Lanzhou Rapid Group Corporation Branch of Shanghai-in Zizhu technical garden of Shanghai Minghang zone（In the opposite of Shanghai Jiao Tong University Minhang Campus）. The branch mainly engages in the new and creative technology research and development of mechanical and electronic, communication and correlative products.
