Lu Tang Lai Architects Ltd. originated in 1983. Over the years, the practice maintains a steady growth in sizable architectural projects ranging from offices and commercial developments, hotel, service apartments, high-class residential developments, schools and institutional buildings to master planning in Hong Kong, Mainland China and S.E. Asia.
Realizing the rapid economic transformation and growth of China in the last decades of the twentieth century, Lu Tang Lai Architects Ltd. sought to contribute the development and redevelopment in Mainland China by actively participating in innovative and award winning architectural and environmental design projects as early as the mid eighties, focusing in Shanghai in the early nineties. The Shanghai office has been put into operation in early 2002 in order to enhance competitiveness and standard of professional services.
