Business Scope
Today, GEFCO-DTW LOGISTICS is developing quickly around 4 major activates:
1.Industrial warehousing using in particular its know how on JIT deliveries to automotive plants.
2.Domestic freight transportation: the goal here is to establish a nationwide Network of cross-docks which by consolidating the local millruns allow reliable, efficient and high frequency deliveries between industrial parts of the country.
3.International overseas transport: the quickly expanding exportations of the Chinese economy is a good opportunity for GDL to provide door to door deliveries using GEFCO's world Overseas network.
4.Finally the soon-to-arrive boom in the car exports and imports will also allow GEFCO-DTW Logistics to do international door-to-door car transportation using GEFCO network of international car distribution platforms. |
