Recruitment/Procurement Specialist for Global Fortune 500 Client
As a Vendor Management Specialist, you are responsible for facilitating the procurement process of contract employees for one of our premier global clients by using a web-based procurement tool and managing relationships between the customer (hiring managers) and the approved vendors.
Key responsibilities include: • Releasing orders to approved vendors using a web-based procurement tool. • Exercising CV screening techniques that ensure only high-quality candidates are forwarded to the customer for review. • Coordinating the candidate interview process on behalf of the hiring managers. • Successfully negotiating bill rates to ensure that they are aligned with current market conditions and closely related to the necessary job criteria. • Confirming assignment logistics between hiring manager and vendor regarding the contractor’s assignment information (start and end date, location, rates, hours, etc.). • Interacting daily with hiring managers and vendors to resolve program related issues. • Ensuring that all key service delivery objectives are achieved.
Requirements: • Degree qualified in a business or management field. • 3-5 years experience in procurement/supplier management experience. • 3-5 years experience recruiting direct/indirect labor categories. • Proficient in developing professional relationships with clients and vendors in a high pace environment. • Excellent communication skills including the ability to push back if needed. • Bilingual speaking and writing skills in English is highly desired. • Able to negotiate with suppliers, identify suppliers and manage their performance and give feedback. • Ability to prioritize and effectively handle multiple tasks that require detail-orientation and systematic process management by managing process flow and suggesting improvements. • Ability to contribute to a multicultural team environment (potentially on a remote basis). • Demonstrate initiative, self-motivation, add value to customers and suppliers and the ability to work with little supervision. • Efficient time management skills. • Savvy with Technology in order to train customers/suppliers and answer queries relating to the Technology tool we use. • Conversant with internet based business applications e.g. Google Apps, etc. • Able to analyze reports and suggest improvements based on trends. • Technical Project Management, Vendor/Supplier Management experience in a Technical field or strong Process Management experience required.
