General Responsibilities:
1.Execute and maintain professionalism with requests made by his/her supervisor
that may not be documented in their job description"
2.Perform routine audits of systems and software
(Firmware, updates, versions, etc.) and document"
3.Perform backups of the Northern Micro (China office) infrastructure where required
using CommVault Galaxy backup software. Other responsibilities include management of
tape retention policies and off-site archiving. Documentation supporting our backup procedures
and selection will also be expected and revised on a quarterly basis if necessary
4.The system administrator will be expected to identify, investigate (by reading and testing),
and apply required operating system updates and configuration changes where necessary.
Documentation must also be available, maintained, and updated as needed
5.Required to test, install, and configure new hardware and software upon approval of
his/her supervisor. Also required to read and understand any supporting documentation
prior to installation if available
6.Add, remove, or update user account information, reset passwords, etc.
7.Proactively monitor technical issues pertaining to the Northern Micro China IT infrastructure
and make recommendations to reduce the risk/impact of similar future problems"
8.Attempt best efforts when approached by other staff requesting technical information
9.Constantly monitor and maintain IT security. Make recommendations to prevent exploitation from
internal and external users. This includes but not limited to generating daily firewall reports,
inspection of denied login attempts, ports scans, etc."
10.Maintain and update documentation for IT infrastructure
11.Evaluate current disaster recovery plan and make changes as necessary
12.Troubleshoot all and any IT infrastructure related problems reported by others.
Repair as necessary. This may include placing service calls on behalf of the user
making the request (i.e. Printer is out of toner)"
13.Always maintain a professional manner (includes management and other employees)
14.Ensure network is running at optimal performance at all times (attempt best efforts).
Practice performance tuning methodologies as necessary"
15.Constantly monitor IT infrastructure to guarantee stability
(make sure network is always up and running)."
16.Always follow rules of engagement when performing maintenance on the network.
Also consider the impact of users before making changes and confer with
other System Administrators if unsure"
17.Assist the China Business Solutions group with internal requests (no on-site requirements).
This may include but not limited to configuring demos,installation and configuration of
Microsoft Dynamics AX / SQL environments."
18.Administer and maintain SAN (if available) and VMWare environments.
No changes are to be made unless approved by Management"
19.Attend training courses or learning sessions as requested by your supervisor
1.教育/语言要求:

•MCSE 或相关技术认证佳
•英语CET-4,并且能与国外同事日常工作交流
2.经验/技能要求:
•善于沟通交流,并且具有专业的服务态度,具备操作系统应用的用户培训和基本的文档书写能力
•具备系统管理工具和相关处理知识,如:server重起/关闭,用户增加/删除,chkdsk.exe,diskpart.exe等
•网络/电脑网络环境配置,如:路由器管理,命令以及远程服务管理,域工作站增加,安装和配置Printers,scanners,fax等.
•具备简单的程序语言设计知识(如VBScript),能创建和修改登陆脚本语言.•具有CommVault Galaxy备份软件经验 ;具备企业网络病毒产品知识;企业网络病毒产品知识
•具备DNS和Active Directory经验,熟悉TCP/IP,Wireless,VPN,Routers,Switches,firewall安装和配置;能够部署,配置,维护和管理整个IT设备)
