Our client is widely regarded as among the leading companies in the US and globally with revenues of US$25 billion and 140,000 employees globally. They operate in 5 key segments including Process Management, Climate Technologies and Network Power. Due to continued organic growth and recent M&A activity opportunities have now arisen to join their Shenzhen operation.
This key management position will lead a team of software engineers in designing, developing, debugging and release for production of Embedded Computing platforms. The primary responsibilities will include recruiting and forming a software design team; defining and developing project from specification to production; working with hardware engineers, marketing, system architects, factory engineers, and various third party suppliers to ensure features trade-off; plus working with validate and test groups to ensure release quality. You will also play a key role in developing team members and defining strategic product road maps.
The Successful Applicant
Degree qualified in Computer science or a related discipline you will have acquired at least 10 years software engineering experience with 5 years at management level. You will have an solid experience in software development with open source components with strong real time embedded experience especially working with Intel or PPC architectures. Strong analytical and problem solving skills in computing languages such as C, Assembly or BIOS are also required along with excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin.
