Job Responsibilities
• Create, review and update BOMs in EDPM or Oracle including board-level, final assembly, product-level and service BOM
• Initiate, complete and apply attributes to parts
• Use MRP processes and NPI Costing tool to review cost
• Review Material Tracking Report and have new material ordered and ensure they are available for all Pre-Production Builds per the program build Schedule
• Generate Material Tracking Report from MRP. Analyze material position from MRP EDPM and Mechanical parts status using
• Work on assigned process improvement projects
Job Requirements
• Understanding of factory flow and major product life cycle events.
• Handles confidential and critical information
• Practice and effectively role model knowledge of Tektronix’s known code of conduct to customers, suppliers and other employees.
• High level understanding of all NPI processes and deliverables.
• Can analyze issues, troubleshoot and propose solutions and uses individual judgment or advice to make decisions on non-routine issues.
• Proficient in all aspects of product structure and data base management -Proficient in Microsoft applications.
• Ability to anticipate problems and resolve complicated issues that directly or indirectly impact project development time lines
• Requires high school diploma or above.
• Good understanding of all NPI elements, as well as the ability to optimize these elements to achieve successful NPI launch.
• Good oral and writing English skills, good communication skills with NPI Launch team effectively.
