JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
-Assist Regional PR Manager to implement integrated PR & Marketing programs for the Asia Pacific region, focusing on Tektronix' industry leading products, technology, and applications
-Implement PR programs including media relations, new product introductions, press conference & roundtables and customer PR program such as local customer win or case study stories
-Localize and distribute worldwide press releases, customer success stories, contributed articles and other stories of interest to our target audience in the region
-Assist on implementing New Digital World PR communication programs especially in China
-Coordinate with the country marketing teams and the PR agency on program implementation, media inquiry and media calendar opportunities
-Measure, analyze and report results of PR programs and activities; maintain PR shared database
JOB REQUIREMENTS
-3+ years working experience and 2+ years PR and/or product marketing experience in high-tech industry
-Good understanding and demonstrated expertise in PR fundamentals including media relations
-Self-starter who can deliver on commitments, work independently and with a team
-Strong project management expertise with an ability to execute multiple tactics simultaneously
-Creativity, initiative and good judgement
-Strong evidence of effective verbal, written and communication skills in English
-Marketing/Public Relations/English degree or equivalent
-Expertise in Microsoft Office
-Willing to travel
-Position is based in Shanghai and reports to the Asia Pacific Public Relations Manager
