Our client is headquartered in the United States and have operations across the Asia Pacific region including Hong Kong and significant manufacturing operations in Dongguan.
JobDescription
Reporting to the VP of Asian Operations you will responsible for the the strategic sourcing of commodities from supplier selection and negotiation to contract management. Your focus will be threefold, you will drive direct material cost reduction efforts, improve supplier quality and lead times in addition to general commodity management.
TheSuccessfulCandidats
Degree qualified with at least 10 years commodity experience, you have a proven track record of purchasing and supplier management.You will be a strong negotiator and able to lead your team to deliver bottom line results. Those with previous experience in Home Appliances may be at an advantage. Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential.
WhatsOnOffer
A highly competitive package is on offer to the successful candidate. The role can be based out of HK but with frequent travel to China or you can choose to station. HK tax, bonuses and housing are also on offer.
