HP Notebooks are making the computing experiences personal again. Notebook product engineering is constantly searching for ways to improve the customer experience with HP notebooks.
Responsibilities
Perform root cause analysis and develop corrective actions on Notebook failures captured from the field
Work with HP Asia teams and ODMs to drive issues to closure
Lead teams to develop tools to identify systemic risks of Notebook computers
Perform data analysis of repair data to identify best opportunities for improvement
Research and analysis of design/manufacturing reliability best practices
Document and present learnings to extended development/manufacturing teams
The key challenge is to continuously integrate reliability into future Notebook designs.
Qualifications
Your profile
Qualifications
MS in Electrical Engineering required
Minimum 8 or more years of PC hardware sustaining or design experience
Proficient in performing Notebook component root cause analysis
Able to perform large scale data analysis
Must be a team player with strong team leadership qualities
Must be organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work independently and be self motivated
Must be able to effectively influence others and drive change
Excellent English verbal, written, and presentation skills |
