Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
1.Develop and execute overall marketing/sales strategy
-Get to know all potential customers
-Understand market/competition
-Improve both FMC’s awareness and the awareness of our product in China Synthesis market. Customers know how to find us and reach us
2.Maintain and grow existing synthesis accounts via new product opportunities.
-Cultivate and foster multi-level customer relationships.
-Expedite new product development and introduction.
3.Prospect for and develop new accounts with the application of existing products.
-Perform market analysis and identify new applications.
-Follow up on potential projects which might need our current product
4.Enhance FMC-Lithium Division's market share within the synthesis custom-manufacturing marketplace.
-Explore new technologies for potential application to LD.
5.Market trend analysis.
-Build relationships with key academic and industry scientists.
-Enhance chemistry knowledge through literature review, targeted searches and seminar attendance.

Key Relationships/Customers:
-External: Pharmaceutical Industry, Fine Chemical & Custom Manufacturers, Agricultural Chemical Industry.
-Internal: Technology, Manufacturing, QA, Customer Service, Finance.

Education and Experience Requirements:
-Minimum of MS in Chemistry or related field.
-4 Years of experience in sales of reagents or intermediates to the pharmaceutical/fine chemical market.
-Solid understanding and Knowledge of Pharmaceutical Development Cycle.
-Basic understanding of Windows based programs, including: MS Office, Lotus Notes, ChemDraw and SAP.
-International experience helpful, but not required.
-Fluent in English
-Prefer experience in dealing with a US company

Physical Requirements:
---Good general health and ability to travel

Work Environment:
-Office environment and chemical plants.
-Based in Shanghai, however, frequent travel, up to 50%
-Overseas travel as required to meet business objectives
