Department : Finance & Tax

Responsibilities

• Maintain integrity and accuracy of financial reporting including but not limited to regulatory reporting, group financial reporting, legal entity report.
  
• Assist Head of Finance to maintain strong relationships with authorities.
  
• Contact and coordinate all departments providing information for reporting purpose.
  
• Answer enquiry from regulators and internal senior management regarding the reporting and regulatory requirements.
  
• Implement new accounting policy, and compliance with DBS Group accounting policies and relevant PRC accounting standards, guidelines & procedures.
  
• Maintain a strong financial control environment, efficient processes and systems for financial reporting.
  
• Lead the report automation project and improve the efficiency in financial reporting function.
  
• Cooperate with external auditors for statutory account annual review & internal control effectiveness assessment.
  
• Develop a finance function through proper management coaching and development processes.
  
• Coach, develop and train staff in relevant accounting and reporting standards.
  
• Support Head of Finance in ad hoc projects / assignments.

• University Graduate in Accounting or Finance.
  
• Qualified Accountant with at least 10 years of relevant experience in the banking industry.
  
• Good understanding of PRC banking practices and regulations, products and services.
  
• Strong technical knowledge in PRC accounting standards and IFRS.
  
• Relevant Experience at local Chinese banks is a plus.
