CWA connects with nature and culture

The day started with manager of Erin Earth, Margaret McKinley, speaking of Erin Earth’s establishment from the beginning to now.

John Danvers spoke on promoting Riverina as a growing food bowl for the nation.

Another speaker was Karen Lenahan talking about gardening by planting things by the moon phases.

Danny Fremantle from Divine Wellbeing spoke about healthy eating.

Members enjoyed the day especially walking around the lovely garden despite the inclement weather.

About 50 attended and a delicious hot lunch was catered for byYathella Coursing Park members.

Wagga EveningAT OURMay meetingJulie Morrison gave a detailed report on the CWA State Conference held at Cowra, which she attended as branch delegate.

EVENING BRANCH: Sudee Spokes wearing a traditional Mongolian costume with Jenny Chobdzynski, Riverina Group Secretary at International Night.

Our International Night was held at the Wagga RSL Club with 40 members and guests in attendance.

Peter McKenzie was the guest speaker who gave an informative talk aboutMongolia, our Country of Study for this year.

A lovely meal was enjoyed by all.

Members will be busy preparing for a high tea we are holding to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday.
