Ryan James, Jason Moylan, Matt Borg and Matt Brewer will also be joined by their club coach Kristian Berghofer, who is on the coaching staff of the Subbies rep team.

The team will play the Queensland Subbies team at Rawson Park, Mosman, with the game kicking off at 7pm.

The Ag College first grade team, of which all four players are a part of, has been dominating their competition this season and the form of the team has seen the players selected for the rep jersey.

Moylan and James are in their second year with the club and both said it was an honour to be selected.

Moylan, who used to play for Hawkesbury Valley before moving away from Sydney for sometime, said it was something he had aimed to achieve.

“It is pretty big [to be selected], I remember growing up looking at the team so I am pretty excited to be putting on the jersey,” he said.

“It has come off the back of being at a good club. The club has the most reps of any team.

“Back at Valley we had one of the guys play Subbies too and ever since then I’ve been pretty keen to get in the team.”

James, who also used to play for Valley, said the Ag College’s fine form this year helped him earn selection.

“Itis a good accomplishment. We’ve been on top of the table all year, and it is good to getselected.Your hard work pays off,” he said.

“We’re sort of like a family here.Everyone plays for each other not themselves, and we all put in the effort and it shows onthe field.”

James said it was special playing for the club in its 125thseason.

“The atmosphere is brilliant. We’ve had a few big home games against top of the table teams,” he said.

“We’ve had some old boys comedown and watch us play and it is good to have some of the old boys coming down and talking to us.”

Moylan agreed the enthusiasm of the season had rubbed off on players in the club.

“There is a lot of history behind the club and you feel honoured every time you don the jersey and run out in front of thecrowd,” he said.

“It is a proud feeling to run out in front of a big crowd with the bagpipes playing.”

Moylan will start at loosehead prop, while James will be one of the flankers.

Matt Borg and Matt Brewer will both come off the bench during the game.
